First of all I would like to wish all of you a Happy and Healthy New Year. May your travels be safe and your 2008 be filled with many happy moments.
I am starting this blog because I really can't stand most of the "professional" sports journalists out there when it comes to their in depth analysis regarding some of the most intriguing topics that are out there today. I understand all about being politically correct, but we have to be politically correct because we have become so entranced in hatred, bigotry, anti-semitism and all of the other crap that goes along with those things.
I want to let you know that I do not care about color, religion, political affiliation or any other societal labels that are amongst us today. If you carve out all of the labels, you have what's left....a human being, homo sapien, ect.. I am hoping to share opinions, insight, and knowledge with you, and I expect the same in return. This is a no holds barred blog space, so feel free to be passionate, as I will be, knowledgeable (as I hope I am) and most of all "HUMAN". We all screw up, sop let's do it together.
The reason I have named this space " The Beauty of Sprts" is because that's what I believe sports are. They are beautiful, un-adulterated (except for a few bad apples), and can not be replicated by the casual observer. Sports is the one and only reality television (OK, except for America's Funniest Home Videos). Let's have fun, fights and mayhem when we discuss our favorite past times whether it be Football, Baseball, Hockey or competitive Lawn Darts. Speak up and you shall be heard, or just shut up sit back and listen and laugh your tail off.
I look forward to hearing from you. Always remember what my Psychology Professor said. There are no stupid question, only stupid people.
