NFL Divisional round of playoffs.

Here we are....the second weekend of the NFL playoffs. Historically, these match ups tend to be blowouts. Why is that you say? Well mostly because the two top seeds have had two weeks off to get healthy and prepare for their turn in the tournament. What does it all mean? Only time will tell, that is why we play the games.

Here are my guesses as to what will transpire this weekend....God I love this stuff.

Saturday:

Ravens @ Titans (-3): Two great defenses meet. I think that with Haynesworth and Van den Bosch coming off of injuries, the relentless Raven's defense will take the day. Ravens 17-Titans 10

Cardinals @ Panthers (-10): The points do not mean much to me. I do know that if I were a betting man, I would take the 10. Two strong defenses, two very good offenses, the weather is not going to be much of a factor. Williams and Stewart are awesome. Can the "Edge" pull off a miracle in the Queen City? Cardinals 10-Panthers 7.

Sunday:

Eagles @ Giants (-4): The road team won both meetings this season. Without Plexi-glass Burress, I think the Eagles have a chance. Eagles 14-Giants 12.

Chargers @ Steelers (-6): This may be the easiest pick of the weekend. Without L.T., I just don;t think that Mr. Sproles can beat down the Steelers defensive line. This may be the biggest blowout of the weekend. Steelers 31-Chargers 10.

There you have it. My picks for what should be a fantastic weekend of football. Good luck to all combatants.

Has anyone seen my take out menu to the King of Wings?

Ahhhhh.....the beauty of blowing my New Year's resolution a week and a half into the year.
