Congratulations to LeBron James for being named the MVP of the NBA. My pick was Dwayne Wade, but he finished a distant third. I am truly happy for King James, it seems a thought he has matured way beyond his twenty-four years of age.
The second game between the Capitals and the Penguins was very exciting as well. It s not very often that you see the two best players from each team score a hat trick. That was awesome to watch.
Mine that Bird, the Kentucky Derby winner...hmmmmm I have a better chance of seeing God than that horse does of winning the Triple Crown. It was an awesome race, and quite frankly, the blimp coverage of his comeback was quite invigorating to say the least. At least the owner has the cajones to race the horse at the Preakness.
The Houston Rockets upset of the L.A. Lakers was rather surprising. I am fairly sure it was a fluke, but that is why they play the games. My prediction for the NBA Finals is the Nuggets vs. The Cavaliers.
OK fine an MLB update, the Met's starting rotation sucks. The Dodgers are looking good. The Royals are a very pleasant surprise. The Blue Jays maybe this year's version of the Rays. Oh....he he and yes, the Yankees suck too!!!!!!
I digress. May the family of the assistant coach of the Dallas Cowboys that was permanently paralyzed from the waist down, find a peace in their hearts to continue on and fight the good fight.
Our lives are so fragile, please don't ever forget that.
Has anyone seen my Southern Comfort shot glass?
Ahhhhh....the beauty and sorrow that is sports. Hmmm.....sounds a lot like life....doesn't it?
