OK, so I was wrong......kind of

As I was watching the Super Regional games this weekend, I realized that I was this close to being so wrong it would have been right. It turns out that the only two teams that came up short were Arizona St. against Fresno St. and Cal State Fullerton against Stanford. We all make mistakes.

These are no mistakes. Here is the way the college baseball world series is going to play itself out this coming week

Bracket One
Florida St. vs Stanford: The Seminoles will beat the living you know what out of the egg heads from Palo Alto.

Miami vs U of Ga.: The 'Canes are going to rip a new one for the bulldogs from Athens.

This should make quite an interesting second round game of FSU and Miami. Prediction to come later.

Bracket Two
Rice vs. Fresno St.: The other Bulldogs are going to going to get torched by the Owls. Too much pitching and too much offense.

UNC vs. LSU: This is going to be closer than one would think by looking at this mismatch on paper, but the Tigers have something to fight for, but I believe the Tar Heals will come out on top.

The Finals:
This is going to be tough. It really depends on which team has a loss going into the finals. I believe that it will be UNC vs. Miami.

During the regular season, the Heals won two out of three from the 'Canes. I believe that UNC's pitching can silence the strong offense of Miami.

The 2008 UNC Tar Heals will be the national champions of men's baseball.

Ahhhh...... the beauty of the smell of the freshly cut grass, the dew on your spikes, and the smell of that freshly popped corn. Let the Tourney Begin!!!!!
